Karapan sapi is a traditional cow racing festival of the island of Madura [a small island in Indonesia], Every summer from about July to October, two bulls paired choice for wooden slide and run as far as 130 meters.
The cow races usually drive by boys who were teenagers, who have the courage and specialized expertise.
Karapan Sapi is such a prestigious event for Madurese people, for the cow’s owner will feel socially uplifted when their bulls can be a champion. Thus, the owner will more concern to make their cow winning in this race.
